Besides the obvious fact that your agent should be compatible and honest with you, there are certain prerequisites that you must consider before choosing one.
Once you have decided the price for your property, your Agent will gather all documents from you and market the property. Once he has a serious tenant, your agent will submit the signed Tenancy Contract and Reservation Deposit (which will later be used as Deposit Fee).
Once you agree and sign the Tenancy Contract, all the payment cheques are submitted to you. In return, your agent will collect the Premise Key and all Final Utility Bills.
Once you have handed the property to the tenant, the tenant will Register for Ejari and later for all Utilities and Telecommunication. It is a practice for the tenant to change the locks and keep your original lock for when they move out of the apartment for security reasons.
